The Chekupalam Jalolthsavam or the Pinarayi Chekupalam Boat Race is normally conducted in the month of September.
Stared in 2015 Pinarayi Chekupalam Vallam Kali is conducted in the Ummanchira River at Chekupalam near Pinarayi. The Boat Race conducted here are the 5 rower fiber boat category.
