Several endangered species including the Nilgiri Tahr and Lion-tailed macaque are often sighted at the outskirts of Gavi. The evergreen forest of Gavi also contain Tiger, elephants, Leopards, Bears, Indian Gaur, sambar, barking and mouse deers, Nilgiri Marten and more.
